The granulate must be removed from the artificial turf at regular intervals in order to screen out coarse contaminants. The bent turf fibres must be straightened up again and the filling material must be reapplied to stabilise the turf mat. With its working width of 140 cm, the NTS140 multifunctional artificial turf cleaning machine is ideally suited for the complete maintenance of the artificial turf. Equipped with twin castors, a single adjustment wheel allows for fine adjustment of the working height of the brooms with millimetre precision. The properties of the brooms allow for low and regular rotations and prevent damage to the synthetic fibres. Depending on the weather conditions, this can be used for maintenance cleaning, intensive cleaning and reactivation of untreated surfaces. Coarse dirt, gravel, fibres, plant remains, wear material, etc. are filtered out with the brooms. The filling material is loosened and the drainage effect of the playing field is restored. In a routine and rapid maintenance pass, the NTS140 can be used with no container and with a harrow for loosening, levelling and aeration of the artificial turf surface. The NTS140 maintenance machine is suitable for all common municipal tractors from 18 hp upwards with a 3 point and PTO drive. A version with a battery drive is optionally available for the use of towing vehicles without a PTO. It is driven by 2 battery units with a running time of approx. 8 to 10 hours.
